School of Dance Auditions
If you are interested in attending the School of Dance, you must audition successfully to become a member or an alternate. Because the audition experience itself is so worthwhile, and there is no charge, all competent students are encouraged to register and to participate in the auditions. Classical ballet is not required to be accepted into the program. During the audition, you will participate in a class and be expected to do a short prepared solo not to exceed two minutes. Ratings by the adjudicators will form the basis for selecting members and alternates to attend the school. Results of the application review will be mailed to all students applying to the program. For the convenience of students and parents, auditions will be held at locations around the state.
