Colby Treat

Colby started dancing Ballet when she was 2 years old. At age 16 she left her home in upstate NY to train and join a studio company in New York City, Manhattan Youth Ballet. From there she attended BalletMet's Pre-Professional Academy for dance in Columbus, OH before landing a Traineeship with Carolina Ballet in 2011. She was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2013 and continued to dance with the company until 2016. Since choosing to embark on a freelance career, she has performed as a Soloist with Albany Berkshire Ballet and the EdwardMorgan Ballet, performed with Trainor Dance for the Battery Park Dance Festival, and participated as a dancer in NY Fashion Week. She works with Miro Magloire of New Chamber Ballet and is a member of Galletto Dance. She joined the NYSSSA team as a Counselor in 2015.
