Dr. Nathaniel Adam

Musicianship Coordinator, Pianist, Small Ensemble

Dr. Adam is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music (B.M.) and the University of Michigan (M.A./Ph.D., Music Theory). He currently teaches Music Theory and Musicianship classes at Central Connecticut State University, and Composition and Music History at the Educational Center for the Arts in New Haven, CT. In addition to teaching in Connecticut and at NYSSSA, Dr. Adam is the Assistant Editor for the Journal of Music Theory at Yale University, and the Choir Director at Christ Church, New Haven. An active chorister, collaborative pianist, and composer, his choral and instrumental works have been performed across the country and internationally.
