Greg Hankins

Musicianship, Pianist

Mr. Hankins holds degrees from the University of Georgia (M.M.) and James Madison University (B.M.). He has performed with members of the Metropolitan Opera, Atlanta Opera, The Canadian Brass, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, San Francisco Opera Orchestra, Saint Louis Symphony, Atlanta Symphony, Cincinnati Symphony, Knoxville Symphony, and the Sotte Voce Quartet. He maintains an active performing career collaborating with guest artists and faculty at the University of Georgia and is regularly on tour giving collaborative recitals and masterclasses. In May and June of 2014, Greg was the staff pianist for UGA’s Music Study Abroad at the Alessandria Conservatory in Italy.  As a jazz pianist, Greg has performed in venues such as the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts and at festivals such as UNC-Greeley’s Jazz Festival in Colorado.
