A sample day with the School of Visual Arts

8:00am- Breakfast in the SUNY Fredonia Dining Hall

9:00-11:30am- Class #1 (All students will take a 3D and 2D class during their time at NYSSSA)

11:30-1:30- Lunch and free time (Students can do homework, laundry, rest or hang out with classmates in the dormitory lounge)

1:30-4:00pm- Class #2

4:30-6:30pm- Dinner and free time 

6:30- 10:30pm- Evening Activities: Open Studios, Visiting Artist Lecture Series, Art History Lectures, College Night.  Students can also participate in a full recreational program designed by the NYSSSA Staff.

10:45pm- Bed Check and Lights out!

Students will also take field trips to the beach (Lake Erie) and the Albright-Knox Museum in Buffalo.
