A Typical Day with the School of Choral Studies
8:00-9:00am Breakfast in the Dining Hall at SUNY Fredonia
9:00-9:30am Group Warm-up & Announcements
9:30-10:30am Musicianship (Music Theory)
10:30-12pm Mixed Choir with Artistic Director Dr. Floyd
1-2:30pm Mixed Choir OR Men's/Women's Choir
2:30-3:00pm Individual Practice Time
3:00-4:00pm Theatre Arts- Opera and Musical Theatre Scenes
4:00-5:00pm Small Ensembles
5:00-7:00pm- Dinner and free time.
7:00-10:00pm- Evenings will alternate between seminars ranging from operas to vocal physiology to college roundtables, or staff and faculty recitals.
10:00-11:00pm- Wind down and lights out!
Students will have a weekly private vocal lesson with faculty to maximize the student's individual growth.
