NEDCC is a regional
conservation center specializing in the preservation and conservation treatment
of paper-based materials including historic documents, maps, books, scrapbooks,
photographs, works of art on paper, and historic wallpaper. NEDCC also offers
microfilming, photographic duplication, and digital imaging services as well
as disaster assistance and educational programs for libraries, archives, public
offices, museums, historical societies, individuals, and corporations. New York
State's membership in NEDCC will entitle all non-profit institutions in the State
to use the Center's conservation treatment and consulting services at a 10% discount
rate. Additional benefits include disaster assistance (unlimited telephone consultation)
and educational workshops.
