Artistic Director

Yayoi is an artist and educator living and working in Brooklyn, NY. She received her BFA in painting from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence RI and her MFA in visual arts from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ.

Tom Galambos
Master Teacher: Painting

Tom Galambos is a Painter and Cartoonist living and working Rochester, NY. He teaches Art at McQuaid Jesuit and is an adjunct instructor in Painting at Nazareth College. Tom is an exhibiting painter and has been recognized for his work in alternative comics.

Gerardo Camargo
Master Teacher

Gerardo Camargo was born in Mexico City. He began working as a cartoonist at the age of 12. In 2004 he founded Zarco Gallery, an independent space for contemporary art in Cuernavaca, Mexico, that offered a program of exhibitions, lectures, and workshops focused on involving the artist community with local processes in the society.

Mildor Chevalier
Master Teacher

Mildor Chevalier is a Haitian visual artist. He lives and works in New York City Mildor holds an Associate Degree in Fine Arts from the School of Design at Altos del Chavón in the Dominican Republic. He also obtained a BFA at Parsons the New School for Design in NYC and an MFA from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. Whether through painting, drawing or sculpture, Mildor generally creates scenes that explore human experience, wishes, and dreams. 

Alison Lee Schroeder
Master Teacher

Alison Lee Schroeder examines contradiction through allegory and quiet sarcasm, oscillating between silly and serious with an ultimately optimistic consideration of time, landscape, and identity. Using bright colors, playful media, and humor to explore the underbelly of her own memories, stereotypes, and foolish assumptions, she invites viewers to peel back the layers of their own interpretations and perceptions, look for consistency, and laugh at absurdity.

Nicholas Rispoli
Master Teacher

Nicholas Rispoli is an artist living and working in NYC. He received his BFA from Manhattanville College and his MFA from the New York Academy of Art in 2010 where he became a Dedalus Foundation Master of Fine Art Nominee. During his time at the Academy, he was also awarded his first artist residency at La Escuela de Diseño de Altos de Chavón located in the La Romana, Dominican Republic. He later revisited the institution in 2013 to teach Ceramic Sculpture and complete his second artist residency.

Greg Lendeck
Master Teacher: Sculpture

Greg is an Artist that teaches at the high school and college level in Rochester, NY. He works both two and three dimensionally in various mediums. Greg holds a B.S. in Studio Art, a B.F.A. in Sculpture, and a M.F.A. in Sculpture. 

Christian Tribastone
Master Teacher: Drawing and Painting

 Christian is trained as a printmaker at Alfred University. Christian Tribastone now uses interdisciplinary mediums to explore conventional notions of public space in relation to our corporeal existence.

Darla Barolini
Master Teacher

Darla Barolini is an artist and instructor living in Houston, Texas. Her artworks are large scale figurative paintings. She received her Master of Fine Arts from The New York Academy of Art in Manhattan, NY and her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. She currently teaches Painting And Art History courses at Houston Community College.  She also works in the Museum of Fine Arts gift shop on the weekends and during holidays.
