NYSSSA Will Offer Scholarship Program for Summer 2022

The New York State Summer School of the Arts (NYSSSA) will offer a total of $150,000 in scholarship opportunities for high school students to attend other regional summer arts programs for summer 2022, the State Education Department announced today. Students can apply for a scholarship now through May 1, via an online application found here. 

School of Media Arts: Request for Information for Host Campus

NYSSSA provides advanced artistic training to young performers. Students in the Media Arts program vary in age. Students entering 8th grade to students who have just finished 12th grade are eligible to apply for the program. NYSSSA seeks a campus in New York State that is able to host the program as early as Summer 2022. The ideal campus is easily accessible (within 30-minute drive) from public transportation, such as bus stations, train stations, or airports.

NYSSSA is soliciting feedback from colleges and institutions of higher education (IHEs) regarding resources available and interest in hosting NYSSSA’s School of Media Arts.

Please note, this is not a request for proposals. A contract will not be awarded based on submissions.  NYSSSA anticipates issuing a request for proposals in the future.

School of Visual Arts: Request for Information for Host Campus
