Jared Berry
Mr. Berry is currently on faculty at St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School, where he conducts the select Women’s Chorale, Men’s Choir, Concert Choir, Wind Ensemble, and teaches Music Theory. Outside the classroom, he is the Concert Music Director and Chorus Master of the Blue Hill Troupe, a New York City based theatre troupe presenting high quality theatre performances while raising money for charities. Mr. Berry is also the Conductor of the Babylon Chorale, one of Long Island’s premier seventy-voice community choirs. Prior to his return to Long Island, he served as Artistic Director & Founder of the University of Georgia Varsity Singers, and Music Director of the UGA Opera Theatre production of Pirates of Penzance. Mr. Berry maintains a career as a professional singer in the greater New York region. He holds degrees from the University of Georgia (M.M. Choral Conducting) and Hofstra University (B.S.Ed. Music Education).
