Onondaga Community College
Syracuse Area Auditions will be held on February 1, 2020 at Onondaga Community College, Academic II Hall.
ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE Friday January 31st at 9am. Applications submitted after this deadline will not be received by the NYSSSA Office. Walk-in applicants should register at the audition site Saturday at 10am.
Pre-assigned audition times will be scheduled by the regional site chairperson. Notification of your audition time will come to you via email or telephone. If you have not received an audition time 5 days in advance of your audition site date, please contact the NYSSSA office at (518) 474-8773 or by email at nysssa@nysed.gov for assistance.
Students auditioning for the School of Orchestral Studies, whether recorded or live, must prepare a solo of their choice and the required excerpt for their instrument.

Wind/brass players who double on saxophone or euphonium are encouraged to perform a short solo on their auxiliary instrument as part of their audition. This is not a required component for any wind or brass player.
No accompaniment is to be used for recorded or live auditions. Students are strongly advised to provide a copy of their solo for use by the adjudicator during live auditions.
